Thankyou all who have supported us during covid

During the last few weeks, we have had an amazing response from the local community helping us to get the centre ready for reopening aswell as helping us fund all the PPE needed.

We want to first give a big shout out to the Rotary Club of Buckingham who came down to help us install and fix all our infra-red remote-control PPE support equipment.

The Buckingham Rotary club has also donated £300 towards the cost of our essential PPE including Medical grade Masks, Visors, Aprons and Gloves etc. They have been a fantastic help and support in getting everything set up, including our greenhouse so we can be ready to offer our new supportive activity groups outdoors.

We would also like to say a big thankyou to The Inner Wheel who kindly donated an essential £500 which has helped us to make sure we have high quality equipment and support in place to keep all our members safe and well during this difficult time. Their help has enabled us to expand our support for those with high anxiety and low moods, so we are there when we are needed, now, and into the future.

Finally we would like to say a big thank you to all our kind donors through our website over the last few months including the fundraising efforts of Tyla Saxton – Music who amazingly raised £155 via WhatLabel. The funds raised have been divided between Clearly Speaking and Autism Mental Health Awareness platform. Right now every pound counts and we are really grateful to Tyla and all who donated to her fundraiser as this will help purchase essential equipment for our upcoming activity groups.

WHAT A SANTANDER OF A DAY!

Initially Santander attended Clearly Speaking on Thursday 10th May, by twelve employees of the London Office, three kind gentlemen came from the Reading Office and stayed late into the evening on Monday 14th May to ensure the greenhouse was completed and ready to go. Huge thanks for all this effort and for you patience.

Santander went above an beyond with their support and after a day of Supporting activities to local charities and community groups.

Our children made lovely bright bunting to decorate the garden and to celebrate the children completion of the greenhouse which many children had waited for many, many months. We hope to welcome everyone back very soon to see the progress we are making. The garden, kindly cleared of weeds by Santander teams ready for any vegetables to be planted, is for all local groups to enjoy. We are managing to regularly feed young people who do not have access to hot meals on a weekly basis and the vegetables we manage to grow helps to keep the cost down and the nourishment up.

Huge Thankyou Buckingham Table

We have recieved an amazing donation of £500 from Buckingham Table to help us complete our centres network project so we can provide secure internet access to our staff, volunteers and families who visit out centre.

Huge Thank you to our sponsors Balfour Beatty!

Our sponsors at Balfour Beatty have not only given us an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse of the £2.6 million redevelopment project where our local families were given a guided tour of the work site and had the chance to see the steel framework for the new two-storey climbing wall being put into place.

Balfour Beatty have been busy giving our centre a mini makeover, building new storage and bringing our sensory room downstairs to help with accessibility aswell as giving our rooms a fresh coat of paint.

To end their time with us, they have raised an amazing £1435 through Justgiving at their triathlon event which will go a long way to helping us to stay open and continue the hard work supporting young people and families.

Thankyou Waitrose Buckingham

We are delighted to have been the recipient of £507 from waitrose Buckingham through their community matters programme. We wish to say a big thankyou to everyone who dropped their green tokens into the box.

Massive thank you and huge well done to our trustee Julie Arnold.

Julie managed to raise an amazing £2850! Because of Julies efforts, we are able to run several new support groups which will directly impact the help and support we can offer to local families and young people in the Buckingham area and surrounding counties.

We also need to say a big thankyou to all the prizes donated to Julies raffle by all our families and local services, aswell as all the cash donations from the public.
